SYNOPSIS

Our story follows young Nigerian matchmaker Semilore ‘Semi’ Sonaike, who is passionate about helping people find love, and her closest cousin Olajire ‘Jire’ Akonedo – a music executive who is navigating the aftermath of a very messy divorce.

When Jire announces her decision to leave the country to start over, a panicked Semilore decides to match her with a new client Mofe. At first, Mo and Jire hit it off and a strong bond is formed, a bond that is threatened when Mo reveals that his non-negotiable is having kids, Jire has decided she doesn’t want to have any at all. They are both forced to make the decision of compromising or going their separate ways.

Meanwhile, Semilore begins to question herself when her fiancée makes the abrupt decision to call off their long-lasting engagement.

In a series of comical incidents, all three learn the hard way: love can be hard to recognise, and the ones who push love away often are the ones who need it most.

Chaos reigns in this steamy rom-com about missed chances, unexpected consequences and new beginnings.
